Obituary
Mrs. Phyllis M. Gahagan, age 77, of Newnan, Ga., formerly of Cataula, Ga., passed away on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008.
She was born in West Bend, WI, to the late Henry & Hildegard Schmidt. She is survived by her children, Lynn (Jack) Gahagan of Manhattan Beach, CA, Gail (Tim) Ross of Newnan, Patti (Craig) Demitros of Elmwood Park, IL., Colleen (David) Watson of Cataula, Ga., and Pauline Gahagan of Columbus, Ga.; grandchildren, Ben, Kyle, Ian Ross, Chris & Ryan Watson and Sarah Marie Gahagan; three sisters and one brother, all of Wisconsin. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Pine Mountain, Ga., and was retired from Briggs & Stratton.
Special thanks to the staff of Avalone Health and Rehabilitation Center for their love and attention.
A Memorial Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Contributions can be made in her honor to Cambridge House Enrichment Center, 2687 Hwy. 154, Newnan, GA 30265.
