Mrs. Pauline Gaston Freeland

Obituary

Mother Pauline Gaston Freeland (wife of L.M. Freeland) passed away one week after her 92nd birthday, on July 27, 2008. Mrs. Freeland was born in Newnan, Georgia. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at noon at the St. John Baptist Church, St. John Circle, Newnan, Ga. The Reverend John Farmer, pastor, Rev. Herman Dyer, eulogist, will officiate, and her remains will be placed in state from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service.

She is survived by four children, Deacon John Freeland (Birdie) of Atlanta, Mr. Nathaniel Freeland (Alice) of Chicago, IL, Mrs. Wylene Jackson (Joe) of Atlanta, Mrs. Jeanette Crossland (Edward) of Atlanta. A son, Eddie Lamar Freeland, and his wife, Fannie, preceded her in death. Mother Freeland also leaves to cherish her memory 21 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral at 11 a.m.
