Obituary
Mrs. Jacqueline Arlene Cofield, age 58, of Newnan, Ga., died at Piedmont Newnan Hospital on Sept. 23, 2008. She was born in Coweta County on April 8, 1950, to the late Jack Bernard Rainey and Dorothy Clovis Legg Rainey. Jackie was a home health nurse with Georgia Baptist. Surviving are her husband, Thomas Randall Cofield of Newnan; sons, Michael Lewis Cofield of Atlanta and Bernard Lee Cofield of Newnan; daughters, Angie Arlene Young and her husband, Donny, of Newnan, Emma Rainey Cofield of Newnan; sister, Patsy Vincent and her husband, Tommy, of Newnan; grandchildren, Donny Joe Young, Dylan Young, Dawson Young, Abigail Cofield, Dixie Cofield. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Sprayberry and Rev. Doyle Casteel officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Randy Haynes, David Haynes, Ronnie Stancill Jr., Scott Green, Larry Newby and Timmy Shellnutt. Ronnie Stancill Sr. and Thomas Clark will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Those wishing may send an online condolence at www.higginshillcrestchapel.com.
