Mrs. Mildred Clark Chambers

Obituary

Mrs. Mildred Clark Chambers, 90, of Newnan, Ga., died Wednesday, November 18, 2009. She was born July 8, 1919, in Newnan to the late Golden & Emmy Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Thomas Chambers.

Mrs. Chambers was a member of the Newnan Presbyterian Church for 90 years. She was a legal secretary at the law firm of Sanders, Haugen, & Mottola for many years.

The funeral is Saturday, Nov. 21 at 11 a.m. at Newnan Presbyterian Church with Dr. Harry Barrow & Rev. Meg Jackson Clark officiating. The family is receiving friends in the fellowship hall of the church after the service. The burial committal service is Saturday, Nov. 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Newnan Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 1107, Newnan, GA 30264.

She is survived by sons, Patrick C. Chambers & his wife, Sally Bray Chambers of Marietta, Michael L. Chambers of Alpharetta; sister, Dorothy Clark of Newnan; and grandchildren, Katie Chambers of Dallas, GA, Alex Chambers of Marietta, Hannah Chambers of Alpharetta.
