Obituary
Mrs. Miriam Castillo Adan, 66, of Newnan, GA, died on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at her residence. She was born June 20, 1943 in La Ceiba, Honduras, daughter of the late Lic. Manuel Artiles and the late Eda Carlota Castillo. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Humberto Emelio Adan of Newnan; sons, Louis Humberto and wife Kendra Adan of Newnan, and Alexander Manuel Adan of Brooklyn, NY; daughters Miriam Beatriz Adan of Newnan, and Linda Suyapa and husband Lyndon Harris of Whitesburg, GA; grandchildren, Casey Danielle Adan, Summer Brooke Adan, Tiffany Renee Adan, Nicholas Michael Adan, Ryan Daniel Harris, and Amber Nichole Harris; brothers, Luis Alberto Castillo of La Ceiba, Honduras, and Jose Antonio Castillo of La Ceiba, Honduras; sisters, Thelma Yolanda Castillo of La Ceiba, Honduras, Marta A. Marin of Gardena, CA, and Xiomara Waleska Castillo of Temple City, CA; stepsons, Humberto Marcos Adan of Miami, FL, and Carlos (Charlie) Alberto and wife Dina Adan of Davie, FL; stepdaughter, Ana Mary and husband Benito Meneses of Miami, FL; and stepgrandchildren, Alexander Charles Adan, Nicholas Adan, Brianna Adan, Jessica Adan, Cristina Meneses, and Carolina Meneses.
Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.higginshillcrestchapel.com . The family will receive friends today, Nov. 17, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Higgins Hillcrest Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 10 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Austin Fogarty officiating. Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan, is in charge of arrangements.
