Death Notices

Thurmon Paschal Kemp, 78, of Newnan, Ga., died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008. Funeral services were Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son (Peachtree City). Burial was in Westminster Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The family received friends Tuesday, Sept. 30 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Velma Gentry Kiser, 92, of Smyrna, Ga., and formerly of Grantville, Ga., died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Church of God of the Union Assembly. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home, Dalton, Ga., Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m.

Ella Thrash, 63, of Greenville, Ga., died Sept. 30, 2008. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Sewell Mortuary Inc., Grantville, Ga.
