Mr. Wilburn W. Eason

Mr. Wilburn W. Eason, age 80, of Newnan, GA, died at his residence on June 30, 2013.

He was born in Cleburne County, Alabama, on July 28, 1932, to the late Carl Jasper Eason and Myrtle Richardson Eason.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Dean Eason, and brother, Styles Eason. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and later was a welder with Brown Steel.

Surviving are his sons, Wilburn Randy Eason and his wife Pamela, and Anthony Wayne Eason; brother, Sylvan Eason.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.higginshillcrestchapel.com. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 5 with Rev. Carl Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until service time.
