Ms. Kristina Diane Woolley
Ms. Kristina Diane Woolley passed away June 7, 2013, at age 54 after a short, courageous battle with cancer. She was a beloved mother of Kyle and Rachel and grandbaby Graysen.
She is also survived by parents Timothy and Siglinde Knight and her only sister, Joni Chamberlin, and loved by her many nieces and nephews.
She was born Dec. 5, 1958, in Enterprise, Ala. She grew up in California for 13 years. The family moved back to the South in 1972, where Kristina Diane Knight attended Newnan High School and graduated as Valedictorian in 1977.
She was musically gifted, playing piano, accordion and guitar.
After marrying Greg Woolley from Dunwoody, they settled in Alpharetta, where she worked as a legal secretary. After her second child she became a full-time, devoted mother to Kyle and Rachel. One of her greatest joys was the family gatherings with either the Woolley family in Atlanta or the Knight family in Newnan, especially Christmas Eve. The family attended North Point Church, pastored by Andy Stanley.
She passed away in her home surrounded by her loving, grief-stricken family. She went home to be with the Lord.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors, where she chose as her song “All My Tears” by Emmylou Harris. She was buried in Milton Fields, a green cemetery in Milton, Ga.
The family is deeply grateful for all the prayers and support of so many family and friends. She will be missed so much.
