Mrs. Martha 'Susie' Adams

Mrs. Martha B. "Susie" Adams, age 85, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014.

Mrs. Adams was born in Veal, Georgia, on Oct.18, 1928, the daughter of the late James Malcom Bonner and Mittie Barr Bonner. She graduated from the Perry School of Business and retired from Carrollton Radiological Group as a billing clerk. Mrs. Adams was a member of Mills Chapel Baptist Church in Newnan.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne Molock and Rich Holzer of Lawrenceville, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Phillip D. Adams of Carrollton, GA, and Jimmy and Lynn Adams of Richmond Hill, GA; grandchildren, Forrest Molock, Phillip Molock, Stephen Molock, Casey (Eric) Chadwick, Jason Adams, Lauren Nist, Kinsey Hileman; and great-granddaughter, Karsen Chadwick. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyce Adams.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Sunday from noon until time of service.

Funeral services will be Sunday, May 4 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Swafford and Rev. Tim Cash officiating.

Pallbearers will be Forrest Molock, Phillip Molock, Stephen Molock, Jason Adams, and Eric Chadwick.

Interment will be in Veal Community Cemetery.
