Mrs. Lillie Hills Bone
Mrs. Lillie Hills Bone, 93, of Newnan, GA, formerly of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014. She was born February 19, 1921, in Provo, UT, to the late Clinton Hills & Annie Lillie Kimber Hills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orren A. Bone, who she married September 30, 1938, in the Salt Lake Temple.
Mrs. Bone grew up in Provo and Salt Lake City, where she was a fashion model and worked at several retail stores including Salt Lake Nit, Castleton's, and Betty Lewis' Dress Shop. Mrs. Bone was an avid animal lover and was the proud grandmother to her son & daughter-in-law's pets: Boopsie, Poopsie, Roadie, Stinky, Womba & Boo Boo.
The funeral is Tuesday, April 1 at 11 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Dr., Salt Lake City, UT 84106 with interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Gardens. Following the burial the family will greet friends in the reception facility of Wasatch Lawn Mortuary. Rather than flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Franklin County Humane Society, 244 Hwy 65, East Point, FL 32328. A local Newnan memorial service is Sunday, March 30 at 1:30 p.m. at Wesley Woods of Newnan with Rev. Sharon Edgar officiating
