Mrs. Annie Maudean Couch
Mrs. Annie Maudean Couch, age 102, of Newnan, GA, died at Avalon Health and Rehab Center on Feb. 19, 2013. 
She was born in Carroll County to the late James Rainwater and Laura Ann Rowell Rainwater. 
She retired from West Point-Pepperell and went on to work at First Baptist Church Daycare Center. Mrs. Couch was the oldest member of East Newnan Baptist Church and the Tommy Thompson Senior Center in Newnan, and she loved to travel. 
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Walter Couch, in 1973. 
Surviving are her son, Morgan Couch of Newnan; sister, Nancy Agnes Amoss of Greensboro, GA; grandchildren, Melissa Hayes (Michael) and Marsha Couch; great-grandchildren, Amanda Hayes and Andrew Hayes; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel with Rev. Pat Latta officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, 11 a.m. until service time.
