Mr. Lewis E. Pate
Mr. Lewis E. Pate, 75, of Newnan, GA, passed away Feb. 19, 2013.
On March 4, 1937, he was born in Raeford, NC, to the late Reuben and Eula Graham Pate. Lewis was a veteran and served his country proudly in the Air Force.
He worked many years as a sheet metal mechanic for Eastern Airlines.
Mr. Pate is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Millians Pate, also of Newnan; daughters, Deborah Tellefsen (Lou), of St. Paul, NC, Donna Parker (Randy) of Newnan, GA, Regina Cannon of Woodstock, GA; sons, Reuben Pate of St. Paul, NC, Thomas Pate (Sabrina) of Orange Park, FL, William Pate of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Lib Hales (Seavy) of Raeford, NC; brother, Robert Pate (Janet) of Raeford, NC; grandchildren, Alicia, David, Tiffany, Brandon, Trey, Brian, Christina, Victoria, James, Sam, Patricia; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kalian, Carter, Kaylee, Aries.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22 in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Smith officiating.
Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
