Mrs. Ruth Steele Mohler
Mrs. Ruth Steele Mohler, 96, of Newnan, GA, and formerly of The Rock, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at the Savannah Court Assisted Living in Newnan.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 28 in the chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in Thomaston.
Rev. Joey Smith officiated and burial was in South View Cemetery.
Mrs. Mohler was born in Lebanon, Marion County, Kentucky, one of thirteen children born to the late James Henry Steele and the late Sarah Ruth Drewry Steele.
She was a homemaker and a member of The Rock Baptist Church. Mrs. Mohler is survived by two sons: Glenn D. (Jane) Mohler of Ashville, NC, and Gordon B. (Rachel) Mohler of Newnan, GA. Five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. R.D. Mohler.
