Mr. Michael W. 'Dola' Harrison Sr.
Mr. Michael W. “Dola” Harrison Sr., of Hogansville, GA, passed away, Jan. 20, 2013. Mike worked at Plant Yates for Georgia Power, and was an avid NASCAR fan.
On Jan. 31, 1955, he was born in Coweta County to the late Grady W. and Marguerite Spearman Harrison.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Theresa Harrison; and his son, Grady Harrison. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sandra Harrison, also of Hogansville; sons, Mikey Harrison Jr. and his wife Lynn, of Tyrone, Jeremy Harrison, of Hogansville; grandchildren, Lilly and Ava Harrison; sister, Geraldine Cumbee of Newnan; brother, Ronald Murphy and his wife Harriet, of Bartlett TN. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Thurston officiating.
Interment will follow at Grantville City Cemetery.
