• Mary Sewell Miller, 75, of Grantville, GA, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Sewell Mortuary Inc., Grantville, GA.
• Leavell Smith, 85, of Newnan, GA, died at Brightmoor Hospice Dec. 23, 2012. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home Wednesday, Dec. 26 from 5-8 p.m.
• Bobbie Scott Theriot, 79, of Moreland, GA, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 29 at 1 p.m. at St. George Catholic Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m., and a rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, GA.
