Roy Joseph Peek, 91, of Newnan died at Piedmont Newnan Hospital on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012.
He was born in Palmetto, GA, on March 18, 1921, to the late William Peek and Nancy Watkins Peek. He served in the United States Army Air Corps and was retired from Southern Bell.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Annette McElroy Peek, and son, Joe Peek.
Surviving are his son, Perry Peek; and daughter, Rachel P. Harris (Max); four grandchildren; eight-great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, 2-3 p.m.
