Mr. Richard James Brown
Mr. Richard James Brown, age 57, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012. Mr. Brown was born on Nov. 1, 1955 in Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Peter James Brown. He served in the U.S. Air Force and then worked as a computer programmer.
He is survived by his wife, Renee Baum Brown; children, Melissa Clemens, Adam Clemens and Jimmy Brown; grandchild, Tyler Clemens; mother, Betty Brassell; sister, Cathy and husband Tippy Turner; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home. Pastor Doug Anderson and Pastor Ron Whitlock officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at McKoon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Newnan Christian School, 1485 Highway 34 E. #B2, Newnan, GA 30265.
