Mr. Timothy Michael Peter Gilbert
Mr. Timothy Michael Peter Gilbert, 47, of Whitesburg, Ga., passed away Nov. 24, 2012.
Tim was an aeronautical engineer who worked for Boeing, and Delta Airlines. He designed the wings for the Space Shuttle Endeavor, and most recently he was trying his hand at farming.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eloy Gilbert; paternal grandparents, Manuel J. and Isabel Olona.
On May 26, 1965, he was born in Florida to Emmanuel and Carolyn Gilbert Olona, who survive.
He is also survived by his wife, Natasha Gilbert, of Whitesburg; maternal grandmother, Rita Gilbert, of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, Gene Olona and his wife Claire, of Columbia SC, Mark Olona and his wife Holly, of Albuquerque, NM; father and mother-in-law, Nikolai and Margarita Telminov; brother-in-law, Guennadi Telminov; uncle, Monsignor Richard J. Olona, of Albuquerque, NM; nephews, A.J. and Ryan Olona, and many other aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at St. George Catholic Church with Father Henry Atem officiating.
