Mr. Nezra Ted McCarty
Mr. Nezra Ted McCarty passed on Nov. 21, 2012 in Florida. Ted was born to Nezra Reese McCarty and Laura Odeal McCarty on July 8, 1945. He was the youngest of five siblings.
Ted faced many obstacles and challenges in his life, yet always had a love for Our Lord Jesus that was amazing.
He was a skilled carpenter, very intelligent and a man who helped others even in the times he had little to give.
He loved the simple things in life like fishing and camping.
He is survived by his only wife, Nancy McCarty; two daughters, Tajuan McCarty and Jenny Kreimeyer; two sons, Cody Duke and Nezra McCarty; and four siblings, brother Edward McCarty and sisters, Dianne Neill, Barbara Riley, and Patricia Lewis.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. His love for people will be dearly missed on this earth.
A memorial service will be held for immediate family members in the near future. Memorial donations can be made to The WellHouse, P.O. Box 320796, Birmingham, Alabama 35232, the agency his daughter Tajuan founded.
