Mr. Bennie Clark Davis, Sr. age 82 of Newnan, died at Piedmont Fayette Hospital on November 24, 2012.
He was born in Coweta County on August 28,1930 to the late Ben Harris Davis and Annie Belle Chandler Davis. He served his country in the United States Army and then for 30 years was a rural mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service.
Mr. Davis was a member of Unity Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Millians and a brother, Bruce Davis. Surviving are his three sons, Dabo Davis (Kate) of Newnan, Stacy Davis (Holly) of Newnan, and Clay Davis of Molena, GA; two daughters, Donna Rotruck (Mark) of Alpharetta, GA and Lisa Beck (Paul) of Kennesaw, GA; sister, Betty Jo Satterfield (Wendell) of Hoschton, GA; 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel with Rev. Danny Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Sunday, 6-8 p.m.
