Mr. William L. (Bill) Tucker
Mr. William L. (Bill) Tucker, 66, of Newnan, GA, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Born Dec. 15, 1945, Mr. Tucker was the son of the late Charlie and Mae Payton Tucker, and was a lifelong resident of Newnan. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, was a graduate of Clayton State College, and retired as an accountant from the City of Atlanta Police Department. He was a member of Welcome Road Baptist Church in Newnan.
Survivors include his wife, Carey Justiss Tucker of Newnan; sister-in-law, Janet Tucker of Senoia; brothers-in-law and their wives, Marc and Dorothy Justiss, Emery and Pat Justiss, all of Valley, AL; very special friends that in his heart he considered as his grandchildren, Stephanie, Scott, Hope, Owen, William, Rebekah, and Elizabeth Faulkner; and several special nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Rev. Dan Odom and Rev. Rhys Key will officiate, with interment in Fairview Cemetery in Valley, AL.
