Chor “Ellison” Hoon Tan, 50, of Newnan, GA, formerly of Destin, FL, and Eatontown, NJ, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012. She was born Dec. 10, 1961, in Malaysia.
Ellison will be remembered as a loving mother whose servant spirit touched many people. Her love of children and serving others is a legacy she would be proud of.
The funeral is Saturday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Rev. Chip Gordon officiating. The visitation is Saturday between 12:30-2 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA 30263. Rather than flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions to Assistance in Healthcare, 600 Parkway North, Newnan, GA 30265, which provides valuable help to family dealing with cancer.
