Mr. Frank Bassett Jarrell
Mr. Frank Bassett Jarrell, age 84, of 425 Flintside Drive, Cobb, Ga., passed away peacefully at his residence Sunday evening Nov. 11, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16 at Calvary Episcopal Church with Rev. Kedron Nicholson officiating. A reception will follow after the services at the church.
Mr. Jarrell was born Dec. 20, 1927, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, the son of the late John Arthur Jarrell and Florence Bassett Jarrell. He was a graduate of Princeton University with a degree in Business Administration, also a member of Key and Seal at the university, was a salesman with Williams Printing Company, a longtime member of Episcopal Church and was a military veteran serving in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War as a second lieutenant.
Mr. Jarrell is survived by his beloved wife, Marion Ellis Jarrell, of Cobb, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Anne Ellis Berry and William McDowell Berry III of Newnan, Ga.; three sons and daughters-in-law, James H. Jarrell and Maria of Grayson, Ga., Frank Bassett Jarrell Jr. and Catherine of Marietta, Ga., Robert Lewis Jarrell of Cobb, Ga.; brother-in-law, George and Betty Ellis of Americus, Ga.; nephew, George Ellis III of Americus, Ga.; niece, Lisa Ellis of Athens, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Ellis, William and Frank Berry, Megan, Taylor and Jamie Jarrell, Christopher and Emma Jarrell. Mr. Jarrell was preceded in death by a brother, John Arthur Jarrell.
