Mrs. Shelby Ann Harris, age 70, of Sharpsburg, died at Spalding Regional Medical Center on November 9, 2012.
She was born in Newnan on Sept. 21, 1942, to the late John J. Gray and Zona Chandler Gray.
She was a true animal lover and spent a great deal of time caring for them. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William E. Harris. Surviving are her son, Eddie Harris and his wife Tina of Newnan; special friend of the family, Darlene Couch; brother, Frankie Gray and his wife Voncile of Sharpsburg; sisters, Hazel Gray of Ohio and Mozelle Thompson of Newnan; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today, Nov. 11, 2012, at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Calhoun officiating.
Interment will follow at Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 2 p.m. until service time.
