Mrs. Annie Iris Browning Bullard passed gently away on the morning of Oct. 29, 2012, at the age of 84 years. She was born on April 15, 1928, in Laurens County, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Isaac Browning and Annie Herndon Browning; her brother, James Waitus Browning; and her husband of 53 years, Winston O. “Rusty” Bullard. Iris was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church in Newnan.
Mrs. Bullard is survived by her children, Michael A. Thomas, wife Betty, Sabrina I. Frazier, husband Alan, and Sabra B. Hatley, husband Bill; seven grandchildren, Lee Thomas, wife Sonia, Clint Thomas, wife Amber, Amanda F. Hensel, husband Phillip, Erica Frazier, Branson Hatley, Breckon Hatley and Bryan Hatley; four great-grandchildren, Sidney, Ethan, Andrew and Kai Thomas.
Funeral arrangements by McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan. Visitation and services will be held Thursday, Nov. 1 at First Baptist Church of Newnan beginning at 11 a.m. and funeral services at 1 p.m. Reverend Jerry Walker and Reverend Steve Batts will officiate. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at 5755 Mallory Road, College Park, GA.
