• Norman D. Fuhr, 80, of Sharpsburg, GA, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012. A memorial service will be held at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory in Peachtree City, GA, Monday, Oct. 22 at 11 a.m. Visitation will last for one hour after the service. Inurnment will be at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA, at a later date.
• Mildred Mitchell, 82, formally of Hogansville, Ga., died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, in Douglasville, Ga. Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 20 at Mt. Perria Baptist Church in Hogansville. Burial will follow in the Olive Branch #2 Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. at Thrash and Sons Funeral Home, Hogansville.
• Captain Grady Byron Stone Sr., 89, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at his home in Peachtree City. The funeral is Saturday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. at White Oak Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 2796 Gordon Rd, Senoia, GA. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
