Mrs. Sally Talley Denney
Mrs. Sally Talley Denney, 95, of Newnan, GA, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. She was born Feb. 10, 1917, in Carroll County, GA, to the late Grady Talley & Fannie Bussey Talley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Denney.
Mrs. Denney was a member of First United Methodist Church in Newnan for more than 56 years and was a longtime Pink Lady at Newnan Hospital for many decades. She was one of the last remaining charter residents of Wesley Woods of Newnan Peachtree City. Mrs. Denney was proud to be the Grand Marshal of the 2012 Easter Parade at Wesley Woods.
The funeral is Saturday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Rev. Sharon Edgar officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The visitation is Friday evening between 5 - 7 at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions can be made to the Cancer Support Group of Coweta County Inc.

Survivors include children, June Denney Garrett & husband Gartrell, Don Denney, Jimmy Denney & wife Beverly, Ned Denney & wife Gayle; grandchildren, Bill Garrett, Jill Helton, Tim Denney, Tal Denney, Jennifer Borden, Hunter Denney, Gordon Denney, Blake Denney, Wyatt Denney, Heather Waters; 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
