Mrs. Shirley Ann Eason
Mrs. Shirley Ann Eason, age 75, of Newnan, GA, died at her residence on May 24, 2012. She was born in Heard County on Dec. 26, 1936, to the late Leonard Parks Dean and Velma Adams Dean.
She loved to work and was in retail sales for many years with Woolworth’s, Gibson’s, and then Kmart. She loved people and enjoyed conversation with everyone and was very fond of gospel music.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Sarah Dean Whitis. Surviving are her husband, Wilburn Eason of Newnan; sons, Randy Eason and his wife Pam of Newnan and Wayne Eason of Marietta; brother, Bobby L. Dean of Heard County; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 27 at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Calhoun and Rev. L.B. Rooks officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Saturday, 6-8 p.m. Higgins Hillcrest Chapel, Newnan.
