Man shot twice outside apartment complex

Paramedics transport a shooting victim to a waiting ambulance.

A male who was standing by his porch on 21 Lovelace street was shot twice around 1:20 pm this afternoon.

Newnan Police, Fire and Coweta County Emergency Medical Services responded. The victim was conscious and talking at the scene and was flown by airlift to Atlanta Medical Center. According to the 911 dispatch, the suspects are two black males who were seen fleeing the area. Lovelace Street will be closed during the investigation.
