Monday is the deadline to register to vote in the March 6 presidential primary, which also includes the county-wide referendum on the extension of Coweta's one-percent Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax and Sunday alcohol sales referenda in Sharpsburg and Haralson.
Monday is also the deadline for changing your address or making any other needed changes to your voter registration.
The Coweta County Voter Registration Office will be open today from 9 a.m. to noon to get people registered to vote. You can also visit the office on Monday during regular business hours.
You can also register to vote by mail, as long as the form is postmarked by Monday. You can download a form off the Georgia Secretary of State's site at www.sos.georgia.gov/elections . Or forms are available at all Coweta Public Library System libraries.
