Three Arrested for Marijuana in Vehicle

by Wes Mayer

Three men were arrested early Friday morning during a license check.

Deputies stopped the three men in the vehicle around 12:05 a.m. at the intersection of Forest Circle and Shenandoah Blvd. and could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside, said Lt. Col. Jimmy Yarbrough with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.

After searching the vehicle, multiple bags of marijuana were discovered, and the three men were taken into custody, Yarbrough said.
