Tentative dates set for UWG project, public safety complex

October groundbreakings have been tentatively set for Newnan’s public safety complex and hospital redevelopment project.

The tentative groundbreaking dates were set at Tuesday night’s meeting of the Newnan City Council.

The public safety complex will be built on the site of the old Hannah Homes public housing complex on Jefferson Street.

The hospital redevelopment project, creating a University of West Georgia Newnan campus at the site of the old Newnan Hospital on Jackson Street.
