Shooting in Newnan Wednesday Morning

There was a shooting incident at the corner of Hill Street and Hatcher Street east of downtown Newnan Wednesday morning.

According to public safety radio traffic, at least two people were taken into custody after the incident, which occurred shortly before lunchtime. During the incident, shots were fired toward a home at the corner of Hill Street and Hatcher Street, and the suspects fled the area. It is not certain if anyone was injured in the shooting.
