Schenbeck among 10 finalists for Ga. Teacher of the Year

Georgia School Superintendent Dr. John Barge announced the 10 finalists for Georgia’s 2014 Teacher of the Year on Monday afternoon, and Coweta County teacher Dr. Lyn Schenbeck was one of them.

Schenbeck is the music instructor at the Central Educational Center and has taught all levels of education for more than 40 years. Schenbeck is a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the group responsible for the Grammy Awards and is also the 2013 Coweta County Teacher of the Year.
