Officials probing death of man found in Union City pond

UNION CITY, Ga. (AP) – Police are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was found floating in a pond near a highway in Union City. WSB-TV reports two women were walking to work and were looking for ducks they usually see in the pond when they noticed the body of an unidentified man floating in the water. The man's identity has not yet been released, and officials are awaiting results of an autopsy to determine the man's cause of death. Union City is about 17 miles southwest of Atlanta.
