Obama headquarters to open Saturday in Luthersville

By Winston Skinner

The Times-Herald

The location is directly across from Unity Elementary School. Supporters from the area will find out how they can volunteer and will have the opportunity to network with fellow Democrats and supporters.

Houston Nelson is the Obama campaign field organizer who has been working with developing a leader board and goals for Meriwether County, and volunteers have already been working for well over a month. Representative Carl Van Epps and Newnan resident Stephen Camp, candidate for U. S. Congress, will be speaking.

The Meriwether County headquarters will be operated by volunteers. Hours for the office will be Mondays and Thursdays from 6-8 p.m.
