Northbound lane closures on SR 54

Northbound lane closures are planned on State Route 54 in southeastern Coweta County 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23 daily through Nov. 30, excluding Saturday and Sunday.

The work is beginning at the Meriwether County Line; SR 54 northbound will have daily single lane closures, said Georgia Department of Transportation region office spokesperson Kimberly Larson.

The DOT has scheduled a single right lane closure as crews continue to resurface SR 54.

Delays are expected in the area as work occurs.

A pilot car will be utilized to assist motorists traveling through this work zone.
