Newnan City Offices Closed Thursday

by Celia Shortt

Newnan city offices, including City Hall on LaGrange Street, will be closed Thursday, Jan. 30.

“The first thing for our employees is safety,” said Newnan Mayor Keith Brady Wednesday afternoon. “We want them to be safe.”

With road conditions, Brady said it is now just a matter of letting the snow and ice melt naturally.

The city’s Public Safety department will be open Thursday, and the street department employees will report as needed.
