A man whose license was already suspended for DUI faces more serious charges following an NPD traffic bust turned up suspected cocaine in the car.
According to the report, Officer Tonya Keith was traveling east on West Washington on Dec. 2 when she noticed the car in front of her was riding in the middle of the road. Keith activated her blue lights, but the driver failed to respond. Then Keith activated her emergency equipment, at which point the suspect vehicle, a Dodge Intrepid, made a right turn and started heading the wrong way on one-way Neal Street. As the driver slowed, Keith noticed him lean over toward the passenger side.
When the vehicle stopped, Keith identified the driver as Usbaldo Olmos-Ruvalcaba. A records check showed Olmos-Ruvalcaba's license was suspended for DUI. After Olmos-Ruvalcaba was arrested for suspended license and failure to maintain lane, Keith searched the floorboard and discovered what she suspected to be cocaine on the vehicle's floorboard. The suspect was then charged with possession of cocaine.

According to Parks, the stranger said, "Sorry, man, I thought this was a white man's truck," then got out and left.
* Officer Christopher Robinson reported that on Dec. 2 he was flagged down while on patrol by Bernice Wright, of 2 Ball St. Wright said Clarence Freeman had entered her residence without permission and would not leave. Freeman was arrested and charged with criminal trespass.
* On Dec. 3, Alexis Nahimana, of Maryland, was arrested on Bullsboro Drive by Officer Michael Condit and charged with driving while unlicensed. Condit arrested Nahimana after a brief chase. Nahimana told the officer he had been headed for a gas station to get a "blunt."

Two suspects, Brandon Sinkfield of Newnan and Ridardrian Favors of Luthersville, finally bailed out of the car at Highland Apartments and were captured after a brief foot chase. Sinkfield admitted to smoking marijuana earlier. He was charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, driving unlicensed, DUI drugs and fleeing and attempting to elude officers.
