More lane closures are planned next week on Hwy. 54 in southeast Coweta County, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced Friday.
Work is planned 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, Nov. 16-20. Beginning at the Meriwether County Line, SR 54 northbound will have daily single lane closures.
The Georgia DOT has scheduled a single right lane closure as crews continue to resurface SR 54. Delays are expected in the area as work occurs. A pilot car will be utilized to assist motorists traveling through this work zone.
Drivers should be aware that personnel and equipment will be operating in close proximity to travel lanes.
