Matching DNA Leads to Rape Charge

A man was charged with rape Friday after the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office received DNA results.

The man has been a suspect of the rape since June 2. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation had been testing the DNA of the suspect to search for possible matches.
