Man hit with baseball bat in fight over girl

A Coweta man was airlifted to an Atlanta hospital early Wednesday afternoon when he was assaulted with a baseball bat during a fight over a girl, authorities say.
Major James "Jimmy" Yarbrough, of the Coweta County Sheriff's Office, said Gregory Allan Little, 38, was taken to Atlanta Medical Center after he was struck on the back of the head by Joshua Stover, 21, of Newnan. Yarbrough said the altercation took place in front of several witnesses at Little's home on Price Road in the northern part of the county.
The cause of the fight appears to be a "mutual female acquaintance," Yarbrough said. Family members were expecting Little's release from the hospital sometime Thursday, Yarbrough said.

He was playing baseball that day and hit a grand slam, and the other team seemed to strike out...and for the team that didnt strike out ... good job on the grand slam Just turn yourself in and do a little time and come back out on the field again one day

I know both of the parties and both are good guys. Both of ya'll need to leave that ... that... whatever alone. Jada for you to say you had nothing to do with it then why was you with Greg yesterday when you say you love Josh. I hope your proud of yourself. You play too many mind games. Josh is a good daddy and a good person. I wish ya'll would have never met. He was a better person before.

Isn't it past time we had a ban, or at least background checks, for baseball bats? How many more fights over girls do we have to read about before someone does something? Lets get organized people and tell Washington enough is enough!
