Peachtree City grandmother fights back against home invaders

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (AP) – A Georgia grandmother says she's ready if home invaders return to her home south of Atlanta. Still bruised from the Friday night attack, Cece Coffee tells WSB-TV (http://bit.ly/MwjaEG ) that wasn't going to be killed without a fight. Authorities say Coffee was beaten and grazed by a shotgun pellet during the home invasion in her Peachtree City house. Police said two men armed with a shotgun entered through an unlocked door. She resisted as she was dragged into a bedroom. One man began ripping cords of the wall to tie her up and searching for a blanket to cover her head.
Coffee said she grabbed one of the men's wrists to block his blows. A friend later arrived and the men fled, but not before firing a shot that grazed Coffee. --- Information from: WSB-TV, http://www.wsbtv.com/index.html © 2012 The Associated Press.
