Georgia State students robbed in their dorm room
ATLANTA (AP) — Three suspects are in custody after police say four students were robbed at gunpoint in their dorm room at Georgia State University in Atlanta.
GSU spokeswoman Andrea Jones says two of the suspects are Georgia State students, and one is a former student.
Jones tells The Associated Press that one suspect, a student who lives in the University Commons dormitory, is accused of signing in the other two men at the building's security check-in.
Police say the suspects knocked on the door and two of the suspects pointed a hand gun in the students' faces and robbed them of an iPad and cellphones Wednesday evening.
Authorities say one suspect turned himself in to Atlanta police, another was turned in by his mother, and the third was apprehended by Georgia State police.
