Fairburn Police probe man's death after body found in woods

FAIRBURN, Ga. (AP) – Fairburn police say they're investigating after a body was found in some woods in the city south of Atlanta. Authorities say a passerby reported smelling an unusual odor, then discovered a man's body Sunday morning along Senoia Road. CBS Atlanta reports that investigators were searching nearby Dumpsters for clues. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was also called to assist with the case.
Fairburn is about 20 miles southwest of Atlanta.
