Members of churches from all over Coweta County will gather tomorrow for ShareFest.
The countywide effort will bring together Christians to share God's love with the people all over Coweta County in simple and practical ways.
Many believers will gather together at East Coweta High School at 9 a.m. to assemble for one great day of outreach. Opportunities include:
* participating in a "clean sweep" project to help clean up roads and parks within the county
* assisting in a county-wide food drive to help collect food for those in need
* completing various small "handyman" projects taking place all over the area.
Sharefest is an outreach of several churches in Coweta County, not any one church or single denomination. "Our combined efforts will be a powerful witness to our community of how the church can come together and how much we desire to show God's love to the people of this county," said Chip Gordon, one of the organizers and LifePlan pastor at SouthCrest Church.
No signup is required.
"Just show up ready to serve in our community," Gordon said. "Join the fun Saturday, and make a difference in Newnan and Coweta County."
