County road paving projects under way

A list of Coweta County Public Works road projects are beginning, with a Hammock Road project starting the schedule this weekend.

Several full-depth reclamation (FDR) and resurfacing road projects are being scheduled by county crews on various subdivision streets and county roadways.

The updated schedule includes:

•  Hammock Road — Full depth reclamation — FDR — work Monday. Resurfacing will begin approximately one week later, weather permitting.

•  Windermere Court — FDR Tuesday and Wednesday. Resurfacing will begin approximately one week later.

•  Windermere Circle  — FDR Wednesday through Thursday. Resurfacing will begin approximately one week later.

•  Aspen Lake Court is scheduled to be resurfaced Friday.

•  Aspen Lake Trace is scheduled to be resurfaced on June 24.

•  Estate Drive is scheduled for FDR June 24-25.  Resurfacing will begin approximately one week later.

•  Aspen Lake Drive-West is scheduled for resurfacing June 25.

•  Aspen Lake Drive-East is scheduled for resurfacing June 26.

• Emory Phillips Road is scheduled for FDR June 26-27.  Resurfacing will begin approximately one week later, weather permitting.

•  Pine Needle Court is scheduled for resurfacing June 27.

•  Woodmoor is scheduled for resurfacing June 27.

•  Beechwood is scheduled for resurfacing June 28.

Other roads are scheduled for FDR and resurfacing with dates to be set later in June 2013, including Turin Road and Waldrop Avenue.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen conditions, county officials said.
