Ramsey meeting in Senoia Thursday

by SARAH FAY CAMPBELL

State Representative Matt Ramsey, R-Peachtree City, will speak to his Senoia area constituents at a town hall meeting on Thursday.

Following redistricting, Ramsey now represents a portion of Coweta, including the Senoia and Haralson areas.

Ramsey will give a wrap-up of bills that were introduced and passed and speak about the challenges he faced during the 2013 Georgia General Assembly session. He will also take questions from the audience.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the courtroom of Senoia Municipal Court/Senoia Police Department.

“This is a great opportunity for the residents of southeast Coweta County to hear firsthand what happens during the 40 days of the general assembly,” said event organizer Joe Cannin.

“Residents are encouraged to bring their questions about any state issue,” Cannin said.

“Let your voices be heard.”
