Two teenagers and a 22-year-old were charged with armed robbery after being arrested in connection with a home invasion in Newnan Wednesday.

Two women and a small infant were at the residence on Brookfield Drive off Shenandoah Boulevard at the time of the 10 a.m. attack Wednesday, authorities with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office said. The victims were not injured.

Ernest Alvin Wilson III, 18, Stanley Elijah Gaines, 19, and Michael Thomas Beacham, 22, are each charged with armed robbery, according to Coweta County Jail records.

Lieutenant Colonel Jimmy Yarbrough said Gaines is also charged with two counts of aggravated assault. Wilson is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Wilson was recently convicted in another armed robbery case and was supposed to report next week for prison, where he was sentenced to 10 years to serve two.

The three burst into the Newnan residence and Gaines, who had a gun, ran into a woman who had just left the kitchen, said Investigator Jae Robertson with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office. The other woman was in the back of the house.

“A black male entered and collided with one woman. He pulled a gun, knocked her down and kept yelling, ‘Where’s the money, where’s the money?’” Robertson said.

The other two men went to the back where the second woman was, according to investigators, and kept her there while they ransacked the house. A lookout was put out for the suspects after the 10 a.m. break-in and the suspects were taken into custody after being stopped several blocks away.

“We already had our people in the area, and based on eyewitnesses who saw them running, we were able to converge on them pretty quickly,” said Lieutenant Colonel Jimmy Yarbrough of the sheriff’s office.

Authorities were able to recover a weapon, items stolen from the residence and the clothing the suspects were wearing to try and disguise themselves, the colonel said. The suspects were arrested by Sergeant Pat Lyons, Sergeant Victor McPhie, Investigator John Curtis, and Investigator Ronald Benjamin of the Crime Suppression Unit.
