Revitalization 'Heart and Soul' of tour in Newnan

Downtown Newnan was in the spotlight Friday as people from around the state stopped by as part of the Heart and Soul tour hosted by the Georgia Cities Foundation.

Two downtown business owners got to tell those on the tour how special, low-interest loans for downtown development helped them open or expand their businesses. The tour members also visited the Newnan-Coweta Historical Society's history center and learned about other NCHS projects, and visited Coweta's 1904 courthouse to learn about its restoration.
